ELS-T is a full service WBE & DBE licensed and certified electrical contractor specializing in energy efficient measures. We have many different commercial and private clients from municipal and educational to hospitality. We are conveniently located in the Chicagoland area in Oak Forest, IL. With over 100 + years' combined industry experience, our highly skilled staff provides comprehensive and “Eco-Friendly” solutions for indoor and outdoor lighting needs from the initial energy assessment to the installation of materials.
Eco Lighting Services is in Good Standing as a registered company in Illinois. We also hold certification/registration with the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR), The State Board of Elections and the State of Illinois Capital Development Board. ELS-T will assist in your development of budget, scope of work, and specification reviews to assure project constructability on time and within budget. Our history is with working for large well-known hospitals, universities, municipalities, general contractors, financial institutions, and some of the leading ESCOs in the United States.

Mindy Nowakowski
President
Mindy Nowakowski leads Eco Lighting Services and Technology, LLC (ELS-T). Mindy enjoys making customers aware of "our specialty" = making customers happy and saving them money. Whether upgrading your lighting and/or controls, electrical needs, and small tenant build outs. It is important that ELS-T's customers are 100% satisfied because our efforts and hard work is a direct reflection of that.
After graduating from DePaul, Mindy tried different jobs within different industries, but she couldn’t see herself staying in them long-term or pursuing a career. She wanted to get into the electrical industry & ELS-T gave her the opportunity to work in every position. From being the warehouse manager, project manager, bookkeeper, and everything in between. She worked her way up to President, and became Owner in 2016. Mindy’s true passion is developing relationships with customers long-term, giving them the confidence that ELS-T will be there in years to come.
Mindy has established ELS-T with many certifications including: WBE with Cook County / City of Chicago, DBE with Pace, WBDC with WBENC, CMS, SBE, CPS, WOSB and CDB.
When not in the office Mindy likes to golf, travel, meet new people and spend time with her family and friends.
